The grant funds allowed us to purchase 3 ipads for the Visitor Information Centre along with 2 heavy duty cases and an ipad stand which was fixed in place for public use at the Visitor![]()
Centre. The feedback from visitors throughout the summer was overwhelmingly positive. The iPads assisted with overcoming language barriers while providing a tool for staff to direct visitors![]()

Last evening North Thompson Communities Foundation attended the Yellowhead Community Services AGM. Director (Treasurer) Cheryl Thomas (left) and Vice Chair Antoon Houben (right) took this opportunity to made a presentation to YCS Board Chair, Jack Keough (centre). This investment from the Government of British Columbia has empowered local Community Foundations to make decisions affecting their communities. This award from the Community Prosperity Fund, with its emphasis on poverty reduction and social inclusion, will be used to support the many programs of YCS with their organizational needs and operational expenses.
