We appreciate the consideration andsupport of tourism as one of Clearwater’s main economic drivers.The grant funds allowed us to purchase 3 ipads for the Visitor Information Centre along with 2 heavy duty cases and an ipad stand which was fixed in place for public use at the VisitorCentre. The feedback from visitors throughout the summer was overwhelmingly positive. The iPads assisted with overcoming language barriers while providing a tool for staff to direct visitorsaround Clearwater and Wells Gray Park. Director (Treasurer) Cheryl Thomas (left) and Vice Chair Antoon Houben (right) took this opportunity to made a presentation to YCS Board Chair, Jack Keough (centre). This investment from the Government of British Columbia has empowered local Community Foundations to make decisions affecting their communities.
