Last evening North Thompson Communities Foundation attended the Yellowhead Community Services AGM. Director (Treasurer) Cheryl Thomas (left) and Vice Chair Antoon Houben (right) took this opportunity to made a presentation to YCS Board Chair, Jack Keough (centre). This investment from the Government of British Columbia has empowered local Community Foundations to make decisions affecting their communities. This award from the Community Prosperity Fund, with its emphasis on poverty reduction and social inclusion, will be used to support the many programs of YCS with their organizational needs and operational expenses.
